Student Fees

Student Fees are managed by staff within the Student Fees & Records section of the Student Business Centre. Student Fees staff are responsible for:

  • Administering:
    • HECS-HELP
    • FEE-HELP
    • OS-HELP
    • Third Party Contracts, and
  • Calculating FEE-HELP and Tuition Fees and Student Contribution amounts in accord with CQUniversity Council approved Fee Schedules.
  • Confirming students' citizenship and residency status and processing changes as required for the administration of HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP, and OS-HELP, and for calculation of correct tuition fees
  • Generation of Fee Notices as requested
  • Investigating disputed charges
  • Issuing Invoices for Ancillary/Incidental Charges - e.g. Library and Late Charges, and Student Loans
  • Processing Refunds, though not issuing the payment
  • Assessment of withdrawals without financial penalty for withdrawals made after the last date to drop each term
  • Responding to your enquiries about any of the matters listed above.
